And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.”2 Kings 2:9
Double portion grace is spiritually designed to multiply your spiritual actions and experiences in life, hence should not be taken lightly nor for granted.
Elisha was not deterred nor discouraged, even by his master from getting the double portion. He will not give in to distractions from fellow sons of the prophet. He would stop at nothing until double portion becomes his experience.
Whatever you have believed God for in 2013 that is yet to be fulfilled in your life, get ready to encounter a double portion of it before the year is over.
